The Basics
What is The Reindeer Post?
The Reindeer Post is a monthly subscription that sends your child a personalized letter from Santa, all year round. Twelve hand-made envelopes a year, each one carrying a letter, a North Pole newspaper, a character trading card, and a Christmas puzzle page. The most deeply personalized Santa letters available, and the only ones that arrive every month.
How does it work?
You subscribe, then fill out a fifteen-minute intake form telling Santa about your child: their name, age, pet, best friend, things they love, things they're brave about. Each month, you get a quick two-minute update form so Santa stays current. Whatever you share gets woven into that month's letter. The full breakdown lives on our How It Works page.
When does my child's first letter arrive?
The first letter arrives in your child's mailbox in the second week of the month after you sign up. Sign up in May, the first letter arrives by mid-June.
The Letters
Are these real letters in real envelopes?
Yes. Real letters in real envelopes, hand-made on cream cotton paper, sealed with the Reindeer Post crest, stamped from the North Pole, delivered by your local postman. No PDFs, no templates printed at scale, no email attachments. The kind of letter your grandmother would have kept.
What's in every envelope?
Every envelope carries four pieces: a personalized letter from Santa, the Reindeer Gazette (an eight-page North Pole newspaper), a character trading card to collect, and a Christmas Puzzles Page with a rotating activity. The full list lives on our subscription page.
What happens during the months Santa is away?
Occasionally, the Clauses go AWOL. Those months, Donner, Blitzen, Mrs. Claus, or Petra (the Postmaster) writes the personal letter, and Santa sends an extra postcard from wherever he is. A beach in Greece. A quiet mountain hut. The Wrapping Room at midnight. Sometimes you get more, never less.
Personalization
How does Santa know about my child?
You tell him. At signup, you fill out a fifteen-minute intake form. Each month, a two-minute update form catches whatever is new. The more Santa knows, the more magic he can pack into every letter.
What if I miss the monthly update?
Santa carries on with what he already knows from your intake. Your child won't notice. We send a gentle reminder on the sixth of each month in case the update slipped past you.
Is my child's information private?
Yes. The details you share at signup and in monthly updates are used only to write your child's letter. Full details in our Privacy Policy.
Subscription
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel from your account in two clicks. Your child keeps every letter they have already received.
What if my address changes?
Update your shipping address in your account before the seventh of the month and the change applies to that month's letter. After the seventh, reach out via our contact form.
